You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
— Matthew 5:14-16

Every November…

We pause to remember who we are and why we’re here.
Be The Blessing isn’t just a moment—it’s our mission in motion. It’s how we live as bridge builders in our city, our nation, and our world.

Together, we celebrate what God has done, dream about what’s next, and join hands to be the light—so others may see the goodness of God through us.

Are you ready to Be The Blessing?

  • People collecting canned goods and household items for donation at a food drive or charity event.

    Stuff The Truck

This year, we’re doubling the blessing by collecting food for local families in partnership with Riesbecks and House of the Carpenter.

December 6–7: Join teams at Riesbecks to collect food donations, or bring your filled bag back to church on December 7.

Every item collected helps provide hope and nourishment to families in need.

    Operation Christmas Child

Every shoebox tells a story—and shares the Good News of Jesus’ love for each child.

Your box becomes a bridge for a child to hear the Gospel for the very first time.

We collected 603 boxes—603 children will hear the Gospel this Christmas!

  • Two women sitting on the carpeted floor playing a card game. One woman has blonde hair, wearing a black jacket and jeans; the other with curly hair, wearing a white t-shirt and gray sweatpants. The scene includes a box of UNO cards, a deck of regular cards, and a small piece of paper. A blue chair and a black table with various cords are in the background, along with colorful cushions and a poster that says "Be the Blessing." The overlay text reads "Madison Mentor."

    Madison Mentor

When you show up week after week, you remind a child that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.
Even one hour a week can make an eternal impact.

  • A man and a young person sitting in a room, with the man appearing to be praying or meditating. Text overlay reads 'Hope Center Mentor'.

Mentor a Man, Transform a Life

When you step into a man’s life at the Hope Center, you show him that he is seen, valued, and loved by God.

Your time, guidance, and encouragement—even just one hour a week—can help him take steps toward purpose, stability, and hope.

    Flood Rebuild Teams

Many of our neighbors are still rebuilding after this summer’s floods.

By serving on a flood repair team, you help restore homes—and hope. Your hands can be the very tools God uses to rebuild a life.

  • Decorated Christmas tree with ornaments and lights with text overlay reading 'Christmas Ornament Drive' and a small logo and phrase 'Be the Blessing' at the bottom right.

    Christmas Ornament Drive Team

    Hope shines brightest at Christmas.
The ornament drive was a huge blessing to each family that visited.

  • A young boy with blond hair holding a yellow sign that says 'Thank You' in large black letters, sitting on wooden outdoor steps.

    Bridging The Gap

We’ve come so far—and God’s not done yet.
Through Bridging the Gap, we’ve seen countless lives transformed.

Now, we’re believing together to finish this bridge—so we can plant campuses across West Virginia and reach even more people for Jesus.

Whether through serving, giving, or praying, you are part of this story.
